How To Burn Playstation 2 Games Quickly And Easily

Do you own a Playstation 2 game console? Have you also spent a good amount of money on buying new games to play? If so, the perfect solution for you would be to learn how to burn Playstation 2 games. Just imagine the amount of money you will be saving when you're no longer paying full price for any of these games. Keep on reading to find out exactly how to burn Playstation 2 games.

Usually when someone first hears about burning video games, they think of installing a mod chip or some form of complicated firmware in their system to make it work. In the past, this was what you had to do and it made it difficult for the average person to be able to copy Playstaytion 2 games or any video games for that matter. The reason why you needed the mod chip was because all games have this protection written into them to stop people like us from copying them.

Recently though, there are several software companies that have developed a new type of game copying software that works without you having to mod your system. The way it works is that they can break through this so-called "unbreakable" protection that is on all game discs and your system won't even realize you're playing a burned game. This advancement has made it much easier for average people like us to be able to make copies of our games.

Now of course these programs aren't going to be free, but the best part is that you can find a really good program and download it for less than $30. With the average price of a new game being $50-$60, this to me is a really good value since you can use it over and over again for as long as you want. To see the program I use and recommend, click here to read a full review on it.

When choosing a game copying software to copy your Playstation 2 games, there are a few things you want to look for:

  • It should be very easy to use. The best program will allow you to insert your game you want to burn and have you follow a few simple instructions on the screen in order to begin copying it. No need to mess with technical computer stuff to get it working.
  • You should also get a program that works for all gaming systems. Some of them only work for one console or a few of them and this is a waste of money since you can get a software that covers all major consoles for the same price or even cheaper. Chances are, you own multiple systems or will at some point in the future.
  • It should be affordable. You're learning how to burn Playstation 2 games to save money and I know you don't want to spend a whole bunch on a program that allows you to do it.
  • The quality of the burned game should be exactly the same as the original one. There's no sense in copying video games if the quality comes out looking bad.

And that's it. If you're ready to learn how to burn Playstation 2 games and want to see the software that I use and recommend, check out my site here: http://www.burnvideogames.net

7 Reasons People Tell You Not to Switch Web Browsers

When you purchased your computer or installed a new operating system, more than likely it came bundled with a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Apple Safari. While this browser seems to offer all the features you need when surfing the Internet, other alternatives exist such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Opera, options that can potentially increase your security and provide new ways of accessing information online.

Many people, however, stick with the installed web browser not because they don't know about other browsers but for the reason that they think problems will occur when using different applications. This article lists seven of those reasons:

1. My computer only can run one web browser

In probably 99% of cases this is completely wrong. Your computer can handle multiple web browsers, and while I don't necessarily recommend downloading and installing every one, experimenting with one or two can offer different views of the web and features you may find useful. As when installing other software, however, backup all important data on your machine first in case problems do occur.

2. It is too hard to learn another web browser

Virtually every web browser has a back and forward button, address bar, and search bar. You may have to take a few minutes to learn other features, such as bookmarks / Favorites, navigating the History, and even longer if you want to configure your browsing experience, but learning how to use a new browser should not take long at all. Some browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox, even come with a help feature for Internet Explorer users.

3. I'll lose all my bookmarks / Favorites

Most web browsers support importing bookmarks or Favorites from others quite easily. And while new bookmarks or Favorites in one web browser may not transfer immediately to another, you may wish to look at online bookmark management services such as Furl and Google Bookmarks. This way you can access your bookmarks with any browser, even one on a different machine!

4. Most sites won't display correctly

While some websites such as Windows/Microsoft Update and online banking sites may not work correctly on non-Internet Explorer browsers, a greater number of websites are being written with technologies that work well across all browsers. This is happening as an increased number of Internet users try different browsers.

5. Internet Explorer is safer than people say

While great strides have been made to increase Internet Explorer's security in recent versions, check a website like Secunia and compare the number of advisories regarding Internet Explorer versus other browsers. Especially note the unpatched exploits and their severities - you may be surprised.

6. Spyware and viruses aren't a problem - I use (insert Internet Service Provider here)

While many ISPs offer antivirus and anti-spyware/malware applications for their users, these will not protect you from all problems. These programs will not patch browser bugs, but they may detect certain malware trying to exploit them. Also, remember that security should take a multipronged approach since no software can detect every piece of malware. By using a potentially more-secure web browser along with security software, you reduce the chances of malware infection that much more.

7. I'm safe - I have an antivirus program, a firewall, and anti-spyware software

See the above. Nothing offers 100% protection, and some browser bugs are exploitable even if you set browser security settings to their maximum! However, if you have all of the above software programs installed, your chances of malware infection have definitely lessened - good work!

While many people find their Internet browsing experience with the default browser adequate, consider using another browser. A different web browser can offer variety and advanced features, and learning how to use one should not be too difficult. Many support importing bookmarks / Favorites and other settings. Plus, using a different browser, no matter how much security software you have installed, may help decrease the chances of getting a malware infection. "Variety's the very spice of life", the quote from English poet William Cowper says, and if you can add a little bit of that while increasing your computer's security, why not give it a shot?

Visual Books for reluctant readers

If your child is having trouble reading then they may be a visual learner and could respond to books that have more images than text.

There is no doubt that children learn in their own time. Some children may be reading fluently by the age of seven whilst others can struggle with basic text for sometime before something "clicks".

The best way to encourage your child to enjoy books without pressuring them to necessarily read is to give them alternative books that are visual or have an interactive element. Here are a few examples:

Comics
Comics went through a stage back in the 1950s where they were regarded as the scourge of childhood delinquency. Opinions have changed and indeed so have comics. There are some wonderful comics or graphic novels that can encourage kids to become interested in reading without forcing them to read the words in order to get the gist of the story.

By telling the story in sequential pictures, readers can understand the basic flow of the story from the action, from facial expressions and other visual cues. For beginner, or emerging readers check out titles like Bone by Jeff Smith or The Dreamland Chronicles by Scott Christian Sava. Both are wonderful fantasy tales with highly engaging graphics.

Interactive Books
Leapfrog has been in the Interactive book game for a number of years. Their Leappad system was highly successful and their latest interactive book system, the Tag Reader, has recently won toy of the year for 2009.

Using a battery operated pen "reader" the system interacts with words and pictures on specially designed books, not only reading words but also encouraging comprehension through games. Books are available for younger readers but also for those who have come late to reading and may be into franchises like Ben 10 or Star Wars.

Both styles of book are highly recommended to help your reluctant reader develop a love for books, even before they feel comfortable reading.

Can someone explain to me how Laurie Anderson uses symbolism with the video game in her book "Twisted"?

I just read this book for fun, and I liked it a lot, but I still need some understanding on how the video game represents Tyler's life.
Also, at the end of the book, which did he choose to be, the Lord, or being reincarnated?
Thanks for helping!

During this novel, Tyler continues to play a video game, which he happens to get stuck on whenever there is a problem in his life. When he finally solves his problems, he completes the game.

Mario Game

Super Mario Games are still the most popular Video Games on every Gaming Platform

Super Mario games have been around since the eighties, and have been among the most popular video games on every gaming platform ever since the first super Mario game was created.

Super Mario Games exist for just about every gaming platform, ranging from the popular Nintendo consoles, like the Wii, SNES, N64 and handhelds like the Nintendo DS, but also on the PC in the shape of super Mario free games that will play in any flash capable browser.

The popularity of the super Mario games, can easily been measured, simply by looking at the sales charts, where the games featuring super Mario always rank amongst the top selling titles. It is no wonder Nintendo has made this Italian plumber its official mascot.

A nice extra for PC gamers is that all the classic titles like the famous super Mario bros games and even free super Mario bros 3 games are now online, as flash games, featured on many arcade gaming web sites, where gamers can play super Mario games for free. Virtually every classic super Mario game title is available through those sites, especially, the arcade sites that are dedicated to super Mario games, and carry all the classic super Mario game titles.

Since the free super Mario games arrived for PC gamers, the games evolved, and now all the classic super Mario games online, look even better then the originals, with smoother graphics, while maintaining the excellent game play, and with the addition of many new super Mario games, there is a wealth of new games for all the fans out there, contributing greatly to the popularity of the games, because the super Mario free games, removed even the smallest(price) obstacle to play the games, ensuring the free super Mario games have the widest possible reach, among the gamers, looking to play the games.

While the super Mario games online are responsible for bringing in a whole new generation of gamers, the traditional consoles like the Nintendo Wii, are also continuing to bring out new super Mario games, that are still as popular as ever. For example; the new Super Mario Galaxy game, which has been in the top of the charts, almost immediately since it came out.

The main reason super Mario games are as popular as they are, lies with the fact that the games cater to a wide variety of gamers, being challenging enough for even the most advanced gamers, yet easy enough for even the youngest gamers among us. Add to this the harmless and friendly characteristics of the super Mario games, and we see a game suitable for the whole family, as opposed to other popular gaming titles, that often revolve around, murder, death, mayhem and destruction. In a wealth of violence, super Mario games represent an oasis of friendly gaming, which is lots of fun, without ever becoming unsuitable for all ages.

It is exactly this formula that made the super Mario games as famous and popular as they are to day in any shape, be it the latest super Mario game for the Wii, or the classic super Mario games that can be played online for free in a flash capable browser.

This being said, super Mario games as a marketing concept, is brilliant, and other game developers should look at this master strategy by Nintendo, for inspiration, if they ever hope to develop a gaming franchise that could hope to come close to the popularity of the super Mario games.

EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis (Wii) - An Enhanced Level in the Tennis Games

EA bangs into the tennis arena with Grand Slam Tennis for the Wii, a much needed improvement that finally takes full advantage of the Wii’s amazing new Wii Motion Plus accessory.

This game is rich with content and game modes for any level player from novice user to hard-core tennis experts. This game features an all-star cast of past and present players, and with Wimbledon's inclusion, it's the first time we have seen all four Grand Slam tournaments together like the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open, preceded by a few practice matches. Current favorites Nadal, Federer and Murray are all here, as are the likes of the Williams sisters, and they're joined by retired greats such as McEnroe, Henin and Sampras.

Grand Slam's single-player gameplay is split among a Grand Slam Career mode, exhibition matches, and party games. There is no much graphics, since the entire game is presented in an almost cartoon-like style, with players having extra-ordinary features while retaining, just makes them recognizable. There is also an exhibition match with a low-skilled player, a match against a tennis legend, and a skill challenge, which is a doubles match based on the Tennis Party games.

There is even online multiplayer option available, which seems to work pretty well and includes interesting things like national leader boards, singles and doubles top one hundreds and a solid My-Stats page to keep track of the players’ progress. Moreover this EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis game features a highly responsive system that detects a variety of shots. In order to win each Grand Slam, gamers must conquer the various challenges to accumulate more skills for their created player.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Game

I have to admit that despite me already owning a First person Shooter Game which is Unreal Tournament 3, I was curious as to what the hype was with this Game. I had heard nothing but great things in regards to the prequel Call of Duty: Modern Warfar 2. Deciding to pick this game up while still recounting my experience with Unreal Tournament 3 was probably the best thing, as it far exceeded even my own expectations.

The Game not only allows you the gamer to choose at random a set of characters to control in battle over a certain period, but there is a credit system that you can also purchase Weapons to add to your arsenal when in deadly combat. All of the Weapons available from the Rifles, the Bazookas, the AK47s, Crossbows, the Ballistic Knives, and the Grenades are really balanced, but it is for you to figure out where they will be most effective to get ahead in your missions. Mostly when taking down a round of Soldiers whom have surrrounded where you are, and want to silence you completely. This can be used in the Multiplayer mode where as an example in Team Deathmatch you are teamed with another Soldier in two, and must take out a certain amount of opposing Soldiers, while competing against your other team comrades. The team that finishes them off faster wins.

I alslo loved the incredible Sound of the Weapons that were firing all around, which made it feel that much more realistic. Many rounds of bullets that were being unleashed from your Soldiers AK47 is different to the sound from when you are controlling a Bazooka, and in turn the sound of Soldiers voices calling for their comrades to either move forward, or move backwards so that they will be covered. The next best sound that I have to commend Treyarch for is the amazing and unique Soundtrack that is different to that of Call of Duty: Modern Warfar 2. This shows that they were willing to open their mind, and not rehash nearly everything from past games, even though the Weapons, and Story are somewhat the same.

I also enjoyed the Zombies mode where in a four player online scenario, I can control past American Presidents John F. Kennedy, and Richard Nixon, as well as Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara and Cuban Leader Fidel Catro to unite and slaughter the many Zombies that invade the Pentagon in Map Five. I found it really exiting, and it gave me a chance to use Leaders as Soldiers to stand up and protect their Country from these dead beings.

I will have to give this amazing Game a 9/10 for the amount of effort Treyarch put into it. The sound is amazing, the  Weapons are impressive, the Landscapes are huge, and the Modes are unique with a lot to do. You will not be disappointed.
