Another Steelers game, another loss. This is nothing new. There were a few positives from this game the staff at NoLogoNeeded.com will get to in the upcoming days. Of course, the negatives outweighed thos positives. Regardless, this was the Browns' 12th consecutive loss against the Steelers and 18 of the last 19. It's getting old. Real old.

And real quick, if someone can explain to us how that was a Steelers first down late in that first half, can you e-mail us at: nologoneeded@gmail.com? Thanks.

Star: Ben Roethlisberger was 23-for-35 passing for 417 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

Key plays: Once the Browns cut the Steelers lead to 17-14 in the third quarter, the Steelers took over and Roethlisberger connected on passes of 45 yards (to Hines Ward) and 21 yards (to Mike Wallace) setting up a 2-yard touchdown run by Rashard Mendenhall and extending the Steelers lead to 24-14.

Key stat: The wind was not as strong in Pittsburgh as it was in Buffalo last week and granted Browns receivers had six drops, but Derek Anderson was 9-for-24 for 122 yards, one touchdown and one interception. In other words, he did not play well and he needed to have a better performance if the Browns were going to have a chance.

Comments

Regarding that failed measurment, my only conclusion was perhaps it was just the camera angle.

It seems like we only see situations like this in Browns games. The Patriots don't have to go through those "WTF is going on" moments.

DA didn't play great, but let's be real, he has zero weapons. Drop passes on third down and short are more costly than we're giving him credit for. Also, Jamal Lewis is slow and extremely ineffective. If we could get a few 2nd and 1s. Then maybe we could afford a drop pass.

Lastly, our right side of the offensive line (really the whole group) gives DA zero time. He was pressured instantly on almost every blitz. And when you are in third and long he wasn't given enough time for the receivers to get downfield
