I'm sure, like many of my fellow Browns fans, we constantly obsess over this football team win or lose. We make no apologies for fretting over the inability of the right side of the offensive line to block a powder puff team or the poor form tackling displayed by the team's secondary.
Instead, beginning tonight at 7:30 p.m. I will not be wasting time my on the Cleveland Browns, as my attention will be with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
For 82 times during the next six months, Browns fans can find reprieve in an exciting basketball team. Our friend Rick from WaitingForNextYear has 10 reasons to love the Cavs chances at winning the NBA title in the 2009-10 season.
A Cleveland team has a chance to win a professional title. I would prefer it to be the Browns, but I'll take the Cavs. Heck, I even sat through those tedious four-hour playoff games in 2007 hoping the Indians could win a World Series.
Thankfully, the basketball team is in position for a title run. Why? Rick's first reason is why.
1.) We have LeBron.
Yup, I'm fired up for at least one night not to deal with the despair that is the professional football club in Cleveland, Ohio. Instead, stick out your chest. Be proud. Have some swagger. Be loud. The Cleveland Cavaliers are good.
Of course, first thing Wednesday morning No Logo Needed will return to reality by providing Browns fans a daily guide to news, notes and analysis.
Until then, enjoy the off night. We leave you with a Cavs a video from the guys at a great blog, LeBrownsTown.
