Braylon, drops continue in Big Apple

Braylon By Don Delco

It feels like ages ago, but Braylon Edwards' last game as a Cleveland Brown came against the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 4. On Sunday, the Browns have their rematch with the Bengals without Braylon Edwards.

After the Browns 23-20 loss in overtime to the Bengals, Edwards got into the altercation at the Cleveland night club that evening. A few days later, Edwards was shipped to the New York Jets.

The last remaining image of Edwards in a Browns uniform was his drop against the Bengals. Those drops continued in New York.

New York Daily News' Rich Cimini reports that Edwards got a little testy Wednesday when asked about his recent drops. Edwards has two drops the last two games.

"Edwards said his hands have been unfairly questioned because he led the league in drops last season with the Browns," wrote Cimini. "He called that an aberration."

Finally, Edwards took the moment to deflect the criticism and get another shot on his former team.

"Despite the losing, Edwards said he's happier with the Jets than the Browns.

'I knew the pits,' he said. 'This is nothing like the pits.'"

Stay classy, Braylon.

@Flo

The saying in English is, "It's the pits." Meaning: It's the worst.

So, he was slamming the Browns.

But, "danke schoen" for reading from Deutschland! Guten Tag! (That's my fine high school German education at work!)

this big baby is full of himself and should shut the hell up. He sucked in Cleveland and blamed everyone except his lazy ass. Hope his career is as bright as his personality.

Tell Mr. Dropper that no one misses him in Cleveland and he sucked here and ain't Karma a bitch. You blew here and I would like to see him succeed the same way he did that last 5 games in Cleveland. Great free agent year asshole.
