It started out so promising... kinda. The Browns were in this game... for a while. The Browns did a good job slowing the Bears offense... somewhat. Then, the Browns trotted out on offense.
Five turnvoers (three fumbles, two interceptions) deralied any kind of momentum Cleveland had on offense and they had momentum... some.
Thankfully, the Browns do not play next Sunday so rejoice.
Oh, and Brady Quinn got three snaps at quarterback so let that circus continue.
Onto our Initial Reaction:
•Star: Bears defense led by Danieal Manning had an interception and forced fumble.
•Key play: Trailing by 10 points, the Browns looked like they were mounting a drive. On a third and 5 from their own 44-yard line, Anderson connected with Steve Heiden for 10 yards and a first down. Heiden fumbled and it was recovered by Danieal Manning.
•Key stat: The Browns had five turnovers — three fumbles and two interceptions.

Here's where I am at in this season of misery - I don't care what the naysayers say, I am going to believe Mangini is going to turn things around. If he stays credible, and doesn't try to feed the public some happy horseshit, then I am in for at least this season and two more. I am fed up with fans who want to burn the building to the ground every time the team stinks the joint out - I want to see a coaching staff take ownership of the problems, find some competent athletes, devise schemes that work with the talent they have, and just get better from week one to week seventeen. I'm in and I;m staying with the chubby son-of-a-brick.
