According to multiple sources, the Browns have shipped unhappy defensive tackle Corey Williams to the Lions for what is said to be a late round pick this year. Williams wasn't the most productive player in the 3-4 and moving back to a 4-3 will probably help him. I was hoping that Williams would be a piece that the Browns packaged to get something a little more appealing. But you can't argue with the Browns having 12 picks in a stacked draft.

Not surprised that this occurred. I hope we got a 5th rd for him and then just offer that to Baltimore for Troy Smith, then just outright release DA.
A late round draft pick... I'd hope it's closer to a 4 or 5 than a 6 or 7....
But can we absorb 12 picks on to the team? I dont think so. We must be looking at packaging some of those for trades.
@ Mark
I think it will give us a lot of flexibility on draft day to move up and position ourselves to get the players we want rather than taking best available
I just read that we also gave Detroit a 7th round pick in this trade. Is it just me, or did we drastically over pay Detroit to take Williams off of our hands?
